Reward 04:11
it always appears worse when you look it up and you diagnose and start to lose the way and want to talk about it to feel reinforced remain in the scene we've been finding facts since the world almanac before we fell for digital brains and put on a disguise now everybody tries to look for a surprise the only mystery left is learning each other i hope the process is the reward how i feel and what i need are not to be just a guarantee lost in the abyss when you start to miss a familiar voice i'll write you a letter hope to make it better cause we all want to be loved

P.O.E. 02:54
dig that brown bomber standing next to Holyfield is this the peak of existence? and are these perks for real? one look in the mirror is everything okay should there be another picture for the moment to sustain admire, desire, suspire weekend mornings want to know is it better to wake alone? finally stretching out again into another zone until you're not alone
3.
secrets cross the county lines a new city just out west to start a new life with an old habit and a scheme and all you got to do is never stop dreaming and maybe i will convince you too of the untruths i believe myself could we just rinse it off and look for a wishing well and may it never come up again as long as you're under my spell how old are you now? should have been more aware of the trail that i continue to leave another ride soon will end but i'm hanging on pretending to learn from my mistakes.

TURZ 02:52
apply the face cream and eat the vitamins be sure to daydream when you practice fitness how does life move so fast? i'm trying to keep up got a half full tank of gas but the car is speeding up my house knows the future is female got a room full of records and one in the mail we are not for sale so don't be telling that tale

Call me up when you’re in my driveway Let the boys and girls say hello I hope you understand I must stay inside my car Cause if we share the air you never know Let’s go outside and enjoy the sun The beach is my best place to walk or run But when I see anybody it’s exponential So if we meet let’s keep it confidential Covid conversations Thought about how to make some money Post my feet up to a fetish site This consideration is so cutting edge for me But my job’s been cut in half and money’s tight Covid conversations (everything’s really weird, we finally made it here, it’s a conspiracy? we act responsibly, lost in technology, no chance in calming me) Gonna find an old friend in my phone Call you up you know you’re not alone Funny how a week feels like a month feels like a year When our heads are so pumped full of fear

about

This is not a new album but more a compilation of new ideas and directions. The songs here are not the same style of music I have recorded in the past, as I have pursued synth exploration and different techniques to recording to mine new ideas. Everything was self-recorded at home over the last several months and mixed over the last few weeks. More songs will be added if it makes sense. Recommended for 🎧

Reward - experiments with a Korg Minilogue and drum muffling, influenced by Radiohead without realizing it until after the fact.

Peak of Existence - the first song I fully recorded at home with an unlimited number of tracks at my disposal. Heavy on percussion and the vibe I tried to get was stoney Afrobeat with a P-Funk synth solo

How Old Are You Now - 4 acoustic chords, beautifully colored in with keys by Ian Egling, which gave it more a Pink Floyd meets Supergrass feel to my ears.

Turz - musical tribute to my good friend and Rochester artist Mike Turzanski. The riff is his phone number translated to tab-style guitar chords (9-1-7-3-3-6.....). The mix is pretty adventurous equally Zappa and fuzzy.

Covid Conversations - written and recorded over the last couple of weeks, first time using a drum machine. Was going for a sterile icy reflecting the mood of quarantine. Lyrics lifted from texts and conversations with friends near and far as we all try to figure this out together.
