Laying in the fields trees look different now Will it be there every time I gaze There's a spirit round when I call out your name Is it today or will it remain We never needed pictures in our best Memories come and go but they never leave How near are we to another season's change? Forgetting the faces and the names How near how far She fell deep in love with an idea first She thought her heart would burst Came home life brand new From a summer's day She knew a trip was the way How near how far
2.
Growing Up 03:41
Too late I'm inside this box And I don't ever want to leave You can't put a time stamp on the days that we learned to see And who wants to when I have you Cause with you we have the world The sounds heard growing up 7th through junior grade You know it stays forever No time for video games Just noisy cheap guitars Cause we belong together Heard through the hills for miles Echoes across the lake The bloom of noise that we make And who wants to when I have you Cause with you we have the world
3.
We knew him well in bits and pieces When he'd come around A one time dreamer is now a scraper Lost and never found Such great depths With no shore Too long to be saved as before And all around him they're settling down Why not keep going And piece together a piece apart It once lived in his heart Such great depths With no shore Too long to be saved as before She's gonna save him
4.
No Mystery 02:47
dan you got to let it go doesn't always have to be a show you let everybody know how you feel remember when we held the fire but a change came in the modern times started in the country no mystery you can't be one mile deep and one inch wide or the joke is on me dam you drew the biggest sword to show you could cut the cord gotta let the world know how you feel we told you you would never win if you sink instead of swim but look at the history no mystery you can't be one mile deep and one inch wide we got a point a to make and so we're gonna make it we got affinity because we never fake it we got amends to make but you're not gonna make them you got a shell so hard but i am gonna break it
5.
I was so into coming here with you Down where dreamers could escape Echoes into dawn how to find the charm If parallels can't find a way to cross You're so vague and I'm wondering How to change and keep hovering Always coming up for air Ways we can be heard soft bombs are words To be attached is to be too late We're so touch and go when it slips through our hands Hard to really ever understand You're so vague and I'm wondering How to change and keep hovering Always coming up for air We're never alone far from home When we've become so vulnerable
6.
Here's an open book placed before your eyes

More Songs 02:11
Fuck it It's a primitive thought A lesson taught by the man who gave you your name You better leave while they remember your name More of the songs will always sound the same
